The driver is an indispensable tool for any woodturner. When mounted in the lathe's headstock, it is of great benefit to both beginners and experienced users.

The sharp ring of teeth ensures that the driver gets a secure grip on the wood, providing better control and driving force. The many contact points minimize the risk of wood splitting. The driver works equally well on both soft and hard wood species as well as synthetic materials.

One of the most important features is the spring-loaded tip. By simply loosening the rear pin slightly, the workpiece remains securely between the rotating center and the driver. This allows the turner to inspect their work without turning off the lathe. When time pressure is a factor, the driver is a great advantage as the workpiece can easily be removed without stopping the machine.
