Alginat 3D Cast

Alginate Cast Blue Professional is a high-quality natural product based on seaweed and is used to produce precise molds of an original model.
3D Alginate Cast is a natural product based on seaweed and is therefore skin-friendly, air-drying and reacts with water to form an initially jelly-like then irreversible solid mass.
Unlike other impression materials, an impression can be made on skin, such as the face or other body parts, and this in a very short time.

The mixing ratio is 1 part 3D Alginate Cast to 4.4 parts water - i.e. 100 grams of 3D Alginate Cast requires 440 grams of water to make a liquid, pourable consistency. Note: The decisive criteria for an excellent result are the mixing ratio and the water temperature.
If you use hot water, the curing and working time is significantly reduced.

• Curing (water temperature 13°C): approx. 4 - 7 minutes
• Curing (water temperature 23°C): approx. 3 - 5 minutes
• Processing time (water temperature 13°C): approximately 120-150 seconds
• Treatment time (water temperature 23°C): approximately 60-90 seconds

• Detailed production of precise molds from original models
• Extremely accurate casts of the human body, e.g. hands, feet and other body parts
• Extremely precise shapes of shells, snails, reliefs, picture frames, sculptures, figures, etc.
• Can be used in professional makeup studios (eg theatres, studios)

The finished form has a high water content and can shrink and should therefore be filled with, for example, casting or modeling powder within a maximum of 2 hours.
