Finishing Oil 1000 ml - Chestnut

Finishing oil is Chestnut's version of Danish oil and it uses Tung oil as its base, but with the addition of solvents and drying agents. This helps to dry the product and speeds up the process dramatically, so it is dry within approximately eight hours.
It has a pale amber color and dries to a hard, yet flexible film that is highly durable and water resistant.
Finishing oil contains UV filters to protect the dried finish and the color of the wood underneath.

For a high gloss finish, apply multiple coats with a light rubbing between each layer; after 5 or
6 coats, a good shine should be visible.

Finishing oil is usually applied with a cloth, but for larger areas, a brush can be used with great success.
