Knife Handle - Zebrano

Knife Handle, approx. 24x38x120 mm. 

Zegrano, or Zebrawood, grow in the western parts of Africa. The wood is light brown with dark stripes resembling the stripes of a zebra - hence the name.

The wood is easy to work with using ordinary tools, but can be difficult to cut due to the long fiber.

Zebrano can have a very special scent when sawing or grinding it.

Used for boatbuilding, furniture, etc.
