How much noise is there in the class?

With this sound meter you can measure sound pressure, sound intensity and sound waves and "see" the sound on the screen.

The audio logger can operate in two ways. In slow mode it can measure sound pressure level in decibels. In fast mode, it can display the sound from various audio sources such as. tuning forks and wind chimes as curves, so both period and frequency can be determined. With two sound meters you can also calculate the speed of sound propagation in different media.

The sound sensor is built into a plastic box and the sensor records the data through a hole in the side of the box.

The experiment can run from 25 milliseconds to 31 days. The unit of measurement is dB (40 - 110) with an accuracy of +/- 2 dB.

The sound meter is pre-calibrated. The accompanying guide (English) allows you to start experimenting as soon as you receive the logger.

Please note that you need at least a USB module (for PC / Mac) or a WiFi module and a battery module (for tablet / smartphone) in order to use the sound meter. However, for optimal use, we recommend that you purchase the Basic Package, which contains all the necessary modules.
