Opinel Curved Knife No. 8 - Wickerwork

The curved blade is chamfered on both sides, which makes it perfect for grafting, carving and wickerwork.

Beechwood is the most commonly used wood for making Opinel handles. The colour varies from yellow to pink. It is characterised by the presence of may small dark lines.
There is a turnable lock ring on the handle, which makes the blade safe when unfolded.

The blade is made from Sandvik 12C27 modified stainless steel. Thanks to the added chrome, it is non-corrosive, and it does not require any special maintenance. The exceptional shine is a result of its carbon contents of at least 0.40%.
The blade is 80 mm long.
