Used for making candles and for sealing of wood. Candles can be made from pure candle wax or paraffin wax, but typically they are mixed to take advantage of both products. Candles made from pure candle wax do not bend and break easily. Candles with a high degree of paraffin bend more easily and burn faster. The colour becomes more transparent when you use paraffin.
